SUMMARY:Art Talk: Ceramic Collections in The Close
DESCRIPTION:Ceramic Collections in Salisbury’s Cathedral Close: Arundells, Mompesson and Nightingale’s\nA hidden gem of Salisbury’s Cathedral Close are the three ceramic collections at Arundells, Mompesson and The King’s House, now The Salisbury Museum. Focusing on these collections allows us to survey ceramics from Europe and Asia, made or imported into Britain over 400 years.\n\nPatricia Ferguson\nPatricia Ferguson is a ceramic specialist with an MA from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), London. She has worked at the British Museum and Victoria & Albert Museum, and as Honorary Adviser on Ceramics to the National Trust. In 2016 she published Ceramics: 400 Years of British Collecting in 100 Masterpieces.\nDate: Thursday 24 April\nTime: Talk begins at 2.30pm\nWhere: The Studio, Arundells, Cathedral Close, Salisbury.\nTickets: £15\n\nAdditional Details\nThere is no parking at Arundells, we recommend using city centre car parks.\nAll tickets are non refundable but you are very welcome to pass them on to friends or family if you are unable to attend.\n
