Along the way, you’ll encounter artefacts and objects rarely seen by the public, offering fresh insights into the history of the house and its collections.\nThese small-group tours provide a fascinating introduction to the work of a museum curator. Learn how historic objects are cared for, conserved, researched and catalogued, and discover the challenges involved in preserving a nationally significant historic house for future generations. Throughout the tour, there will be plenty of opportunities to ask questions and explore the stories behind the collections.\nWhether you are interested in history, museums, conservation, or simply curious to see the hidden side of Arundells, these tours offer a rare opportunity to experience the house in a completely different light.\nAvailable Dates\nJanuary: Friday 15th, 22nd and 29th\nFebruary: Friday 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th\nMarch: Friday 5th\nTime: 11.00am\nDuration: Approximately 90 minutes\nVenue: Arundells, 59 The Close, Salisbury (meet at the main gate)\nTickets: £25 per person\nPlease note: Tours include narrow corridors, steep staircases and areas not normally accessible to visitors.\nMaximum six participants per tour. Advance booking is essential.\nAll tickets are non-refundable but you are very welcome to pass them on to friends or family if you are unable to attend.\n
