In conversation with Edward Bickham, she will discuss the themes of Harvest before taking questions from the audience.\nCopies of Harvest will be available to purchase on the evening.\nMinette Batters is a farmer, businesswoman and one of the most influential voices in British agriculture. She served as President of the National Farmers’ Union of England and Wales from 2018 to 2024, becoming the first woman to hold the position in the organisation’s history. During her tenure she represented British farmers through a period of significant change, including Brexit, the Covid-19 pandemic and major debates over food security, trade and environmental policy.\nAlongside her national work, Minette runs Barford Park Farm in Wiltshire and has long championed the importance of sustainable food production and thriving rural communities.
