A summer afternoon in Wild Wood, while the animals sat, ate picnics and played with their friends, a mischievous ‘poop poop’ echoed in the trees.  Join Mole, Ratty and Badger in a floor stomping, live music, hilarious recount of this woodland adventure as they save Toad and his shiny new motorcar from deep trouble.

Award-winning theatre company, Calf2Cow, brings you the outdoor theatrical experience of the summer. In a re-telling of Kenneth Grahame’s classic story: The Wind In The Willows. Calf2Cow’s, Artistic Director is delighted to be bringing you this hilarious classic. With his work described as “Remarkable”, “Fantastic” and ” Mesmerising” this new adaptation is perfect for the modern day audience. So let’s all get out, have a laugh and enjoy the sun set as we dress up, fall over, and play you some folk rock tunes! Let’s party on down to the river bank!

An acclaimed, not to be missed, story comes dramatically alive. The performance will take place in the garden at Arundells, in the heart of the Cathedral Close, with the Cathedral as a backdrop.


If for any reason this event needs to be cancelled due to Covid 19 restrictions, we will of course refund all tickets. Should the event be able to take place but social distancing is still required then we will make sure the event complies with all requirements and that all ticket holders are able to attend safely. Please note that this is an outdoor performance come rain or shine, so please do bring the appropriate attire with you as there is no covered area. Picnic blankets and low backed chairs will make your experience far more relaxing and we encourage picnics but we do ask that you please take your rubbish home with you.

There will be loos available on site but no there is no parking at Arundells, we recommend using city centre car parks or you could book a space in the Cathedral car park.
