Jazz in the Garden – The FB Pocket Orchestra

Forget your gardening gloves and grab your dancing shoes! Jazz in the garden is one of the highlights of Arundells’ event calendar every year, and this summer, we’re hosting not one, but TWO concerts!

On Wednesday 15th May The FB Pocket Orchestra visit Arundells bringing with them a wide selection of charming repertoire. Paul Stevenson (guitar) Ollie Corbin (Accordion and Voice) and Jenny Russell (Clarinet and Voice) comprise this longstanding ensemble based on the South Coast. From prohibition laments to drawing room waltzes, expect both the unexpected and the familiar as The FB Pocket Orchestra delve into their back catalogue.

Get ready for playful syncopation and infectious energy, guaranteed to set your heart dancing and your feet tapping a happy beat.

Jazz in the Garden is more than just a concert; it’s an experience, a chance to shed your shoes and unwind in an enchanting garden venue with spectacular views of Salisbury Cathedral and the tranquil frontage to the confluence of two rivers – the Avon and the Nadder.

So, pack a picnic basket, grab a blanket, and prepare to be swept away by the sweet sounds of summer. We can’t wait to share these evenings with you in our own musical Eden!

Tickets: Adults £18 | Under 14s £12
The performance will start at 7:00pm, entrance to the garden from 6pm.
There will be a 15-minute interval and the evening should end at around 9:00pm.

Please note that this is an outdoor performance come rain or shine, so dress for the weather as there is no covered area.

Bring your own folding chairs or picnic blankets, there are no chairs provided.

We encourage picnics but we do ask that you please take your rubbish home with you.

Additional Information

As much as we love dogs and welcome them in the garden on our open days, only special assistance dogs are invited to our events.

There is no parking at Arundells, we recommend using city centre car parks.

All tickets are non-refundable, but you are very welcome to pass them on to friends or family if you are unable to attend.
