With his deep understanding of the media landscape, coupled with his political acumen, Davie brings an informed insight into the issues facing the future of British media. Recognized for his influence, Davie was named one of The Guardian’s 100 most influential people in media in 2009 and honoured with a CBE in 2018. Committed to the cultural sector, he serves as Chairman of Comic Relief and Trustee of the Tate and the Royal Television Society.
