During his visit to Salisbury on Monday 18th November, BBC Director-General Tim Davie shared his vision for the future of public service broadcasting. In a wide-ranging talk at The Guildhall, Davie addressed pressing issues such as the impact of streaming services, the BBC’s role in local news, funding, and the importance of impartiality.

A lively Q&A session followed, where the audience had the opportunity to pose questions directly to the BBC’s top executive, with Davie providing thoughtful and candid responses to a range of topics.
