What a night! Our Ceilidh in the Garden on Saturday 5th July was a wonderful celebration of live music, dancing, and summer spirit in the heart of Salisbury’s Cathedral Close.
With perfect weather – warm but not too hot for dancing – and a lively crowd, Ceilidh Factor brought infectious energy to the gardens of Arundells. Guests of all ages joined in with traditional folk dances, expertly guided by a brilliant caller who made sure everyone felt welcome on the dance floor, whether they were seasoned ceilidh-goers or complete beginners.
A special moment came during the interval when our neighbours at the Rifles Museum surprised us with the dramatic boom of cannon fire – a wonderfully unexpected addition to the evening’s festivities!
Thank you to everyone who joined us and to John Rose Photography for capturing the energy and joy of the event so beautifully.
Our Burns Night Ceilidh returns on Saturday 24th January 2026 at St John’s Place, Lower Bemerton – an evening of dancing, live music, and Scottish celebration. Full details coming soon!
