Dr Steve Tibble is a graduate of Cambridge and London Universities and holds an honorary position at Royal Holloway, University of London. He is one of the leading historians working on the Crusades and medieval military history, and has contributed to both The Oxford Illustrated History of the Crusades and The Cambridge History of the Crusades. His books include The Crusader Armies, The Crusader Strategy, Templars: The Knights Who Made Britain, Crusader Criminals: The Knights Who Went Rogue in the Holy Land and Assassins and Templars: A Battle in Myth and Blood. Known for making complex scholarship accessible and entertaining, Steve is a popular speaker who brings the medieval world vividly to life for modern audiences.
