If you’re looking for a rewarding part-time role in a beautiful and historic setting, Arundells in Salisbury’s Cathedral Close is seeking a seasonal Receptionist to join our front-of-house team for the 2026 season.
About the Role
As the first point of contact for visitors, you’ll help create a warm and welcoming atmosphere from the moment guests arrive at Arundells. This is a part-time, seasonal position, running from 19th March to 3rd November 2026, and would suit someone who enjoys meeting people and working in a small, dedicated team.
You’ll be responsible for greeting visitors, answering questions about the house, garden, and our busy programme of events and exhibitions, and helping everyone get the most out of their visit. The role also includes selling tickets and retail items, using our DigiTickets EPOS system, and keeping the reception area tidy and inviting.

- Season: 19 March – 3 November 2026
- Hours: Two weekdays per week (9:30am – 5:00pm, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break)
- Additional work: Occasional weekend shifts on a rota basis
- Location: Arundells, Cathedral Close, Salisbury
