Country Hares & Foxes Needle Felting Workshop with Mousehole Woolery
Love wool? Then you’ll love needle felting!
Time: 10am – 4pm
Location: Arundells (in the exhibition room) Cathedral Close, Salisbury
Suitable for: Beginners and those with experience
What is included?: Tea, coffee and cake throughout the day and lunch in the garden, as well as all materials and a needle felting kit, that you get to keep, take home and carry on creating
Fibre artist Carla Taylor of The Mousehole Woolery will guide you step by step through the basic techniques of needle felting as well as sharing lot of tips and tricks that she has learnt along the way as well as her love and passion for local Dorset and British wool.
By the end of the workshop you will have created your own country hare or fox out of beautiful wool ready for you to take home or, if you can part with them, to give to someone as a special gift.
A fun, creative and inspiring day with friendly, like minded people!
Tea, coffee, cake and soft drinks will be provided throughout the day but please also feel free to bring your own snacks.
Lunch will be included and if the weather is fine will be served in the garden- the garden will be closed to the public so you can enjoy it all to yourself. Please let us know about any dietary requirements when you book.
Your ticket will also give you a free return visit to Arundells on a Free Flow day if you would like, just ask on the day for your return ticket.
Parking is not available at Arundells but there is plenty of parking available in the city centre or you could book a space in the Cathedral car park.
Booking will be limited to 6 spaces until confirmation on the 19th July that it is safe to proceed in a slightly larger group.
